Cheers to Spring - Sale Rack Style

#Cheers to Spring - Sale Rack Style with #midweekcocktails #inspiration!

Cheers to Spring - Sale Rack Style

To me, spring is all about color. I like to integrate saturated hues into every part of my life, switching out neutrals in my wardrobe, spending as much time under bright blue skies as I can, admiring the rainbow of gorgeous blooms, and of course, sipping a colorful cocktail on a patio or rooftop. So, when TheBar.com challenged me to create a cocktail that would help me prepare for spring, color was the first thing that came to mind.

The Irish Farewell

The Irish Farewell? This looks like an #Irish #Hello. Cocktail #recipe

The Irish Farewell

The Irish Farewell: Agave nectar or honey, as needed Cinnamon, as needed 1 ounce Smirnoff Kissed Caramel vodka Apple juice, as needed Use a small spoon or a small pastry brush to coat the outer rim of the glass with a thin coat of the agave or honey - this is just to create a sticky surface, so a light coat is all you need. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the coating to create a dusty rim. If you prefer a sweet rim, you could use cinnamon sugar or plain sugar instead. Fill the glass with ice, then add the vodka and apple juice. Stir and serve. For more on the tradition of the "Irish Goodbye" see http://www.cookistry.com/2015/03/irish-farewell-cocktail.html

A Classic Brunch Cocktail

Brunch and booze. Not sure if I do (but you might), so here's a #recipe.

A Classic Brunch Cocktail

Celebrate the warmer weather with a spring-inspired brunch this season. Keep the food simple by creating an easy-to-make menu such as scrambled eggs, bacon (or protein of choice), croissants, and a mix of fresh fruit. For the table, try bright napkins for a pop of color and a carafe or pitcher for your pre-made cocktail so your friends can help themselves.
