Exfoliate Your Way To Better and Brighter Skin

Exfoliating is incredibly important.

Exfoliate Your Way To Better and Brighter Skin

Brand new year means brand new beauty habits right? Well I learned a pretty great one from The Beauty Department. I had actually heard of this "exfoliating dry face technique" before but I was a little scared to try it. Wouldn't that harm my skin? Actually NOT! It has changed my skin for the better. Just wet your finger tips, take a face exfoliator and rub onto your dry face. Keep in mind when you exfoliate your face you don't need to rub extremely hard to make that "penny shine." Just rub your forehead or your chin for a little longer you'll get those great results without the rug burn. You can even use your palms to rub your cheeks if you need to for a little better coverage. This technique promotes new skin growth and puts your...Read More

Girl Meets City: Savannah

I love Savannah!

Girl Meets City: Savannah

Girls Meets City is a project that I have been thinking of doing for a few years now, but couldn’t really quite come up with exactly the idea behind why I, a young, professional, female, would be travelling to cities and towns throughout the Southeastern United States- and then it hit me- why not?   It’s my own opinion that ladies of my age, late 20’s to 30’s, are a powerful economic force. And the Southern Belle even more so: Southern women are strong whether they are stay at home mothers, CEO’s leading a company or even starting their own small businesses.   I am also a big believer in supporting small businesses themselves, and that they are really at the heart of our Southern culture....Read More

But if you need something even faster, stop at your local grocery store on the way home and grab a rotisserie chicken. Cinna-sugar white hot chocolate

I finally got the chance to experiment with the new Cinna-sugar vodka after fighting off the flu over the holidays. The first thing I mixed up was this rich and decadent white hot chocolate and let me say, it is divine! I can see myself drinking these fireside all winter long. The homemade hot chocolate mix takes a few extra minutes of effort but it's well worth it. The end result is spectacular! Happy winter Smirnoff friends. http://www.yoursouthernpeach.com/
