What's Your Story?

Hello, Readers!

I'm searching for travel stories, insights, experiences from anyone who travels anywhere, or simply loves to tell a good story. This isn't about travel news, it's about memorable travel experiences (for better or worse), and that leaves plenty of room for creativity.

The more creative, the better, in fact! It doesn't matter if you're a writer, lawyer, doctor, or acrobat--if you can tell a story about a travel experience that has impacted you (for better or worse), your story belongs here! Here's what to expect:

Guidelines

1. 300-1000 words of readable, spell-checked content that must include some type of travel component--it can even be travel through a great book. Creativity is key here.

2. Submit at least one good photograph with your story (or more!), and it can even be a stock photo. I use them myself,on occasion, if I'm lacking the pictures I want to make the visual impact I desire.

3. Keep the language PG. I won't sniff at the occasional "damn" or whatnot, but don't go overboard. I like everyone to enjoy the posts on this blog. Plus, I feel that if you're a good enough storyteller, you don't need vulgar language for extra impact. You're already a star! ;-D

4. Enough with the rules, because I don't really like rules. I'm only incorporating the absolute necessities.

To enable me to spread the word about my plans, I'd be tickled to pieces if you shared this page on Facebook and Twitter, and if you haven't noticed, there is a Facebook page for this blog.

Take care, and I can't wait to hear from you!
